Every once in a while I'll hit the local resale shops just to see if there are any bikes worthwhile, and sometimes there are. I did buy a bike today, but only for the toe clips. It's a red schwinn traveler that is nearly as tall as me but I just wanted the christophe mini toe clips. 15.00 for toe clips isn't too bad. Of course now I've got a bike that will probably just wind up getting donated back to the same store. I should of just asked to pay the 15.00 for the toe clips and left the bike. I once paid 30.00 for a pannasonic gas pipe bike just for the christophe leather covered clips it had.

This just got me thinking if anyone else has bought a whole bike or frame just for a tiny part or bits.

P.S. I got my black campy pedals, barely used, with the original box from ebay the other day and the raleigh pro is almost complete. just need the hoods, wheels, and decals. well, somewhat done but definately getting alot of use.
