Subject: [CR]Rossin question

As you may have guessed from my frequent posts of late, I have been able to spend some time with and on my cycles, so here´s something else cropped up.

I´ve had a cycle in my possession for some time which I´ve never been able to make head or tails of as I´m not really into Italian bikes. The thing is a Rossin, probably just inside the CR timeline, model Record Professional. It´s practically new, has maybe done a couple of hundred miles. The frame is very colourful, with chromed front fork and rear ends. Haven´t been able to find a frame number, sorry. The question is: Is it as grand as its name and worth keeping in a collection, or should it be used up, so to speak? From looking at lugs, brake bridges, b/b shell and so forth I should rather imagine the latter, but then, I´m not an expert.

The background is that last weekend I found something even I recognized as a superbike (unused Motta with C-Record Century) and that the Rossin must either prove it is its equal or do some useful work (or vanish altogether, haven´t decided yet), because my vault space is limited and is needed for the really interesting things, i.e. British lightweights. (Do I hear some distant rumbling already?)

Regards,
