I have a data point to add to this thread:

Greg Parker wrote:

They came in three color schemes - "Team" red/black/yellow, Midnight blue w/black, and a somewhat odd gold color."

I have a gold Raleigh Pro s/n WG9003209 (indicating Worksop built?). Oversized seatstay caps, flat fork crown, windowed lugs, slots cut in BB shell. 531 tubing (although the decal has seen better days). I bought the bike used from Sid the Butcher (local garage sale scout) and it had been built up with a late Suntour Cyclone group. I presume it was originally purchased as a bare frameset.

It rides great (still has the Suntour on it). I thought the gold color was odd for a Raleigh Professional but I do find it nice looking. Certainly not your everyday Raleigh Pro. I never considered it could be classified as a Team Pro though.
