When I visited Florence in Oct. 2002 the G. Bianchi bike shop had closed (from its location in 2000). If they moved I couldn't find where they moved to. I also have a great jersey from that store...mine has all the significant monuments of Florence in a beautiful design. There was also a small bike/moto shop near the train station; nothing of significance other than nice national team jerseys. I think the "best" shop was on the outskirts of Florence, which I heard of but didn't visit. Don't forget to have some bistecca fiorentina.
