Chuck:

Not sure this helps, but I have a Bikecology (Santa Monica) Bike Shop catalog that shows the Shimano Crane and Dura Ace Brakeset available in black. A vintage Palo Alto '77/'78 catalog lists the black Dura Ace brakes as well (a complete set NIB for $69.98!).

Does anyone know what year the black Dura Ace parts were made.It as in a group that still used the Crane deraileur.

Thanks for any info, Chuck Schlesinger San Diego, CA USA
