[CR]Lugs as a art form.

When I look as an architect at Bruce Gordon's frames. I see a great expression of modern art. I enjoy the frame builders skill in taking a standard lug and transforming it into a work of art. You don't want to know how much more he charges to do this kind of stuff..but he'll do it on your frame, if you want it. Isn't the reason we enjoy this frames because of the high degree of added art. A MO Hetchins has a lot of extra lug work that serves very little purpose but a lot of very wonderful art forms. So Ken what is odd about Bruces lug work. Perhaps too modern. I can accept that view point. But I state Bruce Gordon is the best modern frame builder in his expression of lugs and the frame as a total object to enjoy as a higher art form I know of.
