I have in my hand what I believe to be 1st gen DA high flange hubs and they have codes s t rear,and s r front.Also,I both remember and have magazines with advertisements for Dura Ace components, way before 1976.

I notice the date code table on the CR website starts in 1976, so perhaps Shimano had a different code prior to then. Does anyone know?
