I too found it a nice show, kept me well entertained for7 hours. It was my first time, and it took me a while to get oriented. I tried to find Mike Kones table but though I am certain I did, and probably even talked to him (I might have asked about Zeus components), I never knew exactly which table numbers I was at.

I think I got the deal of the day. For kicks, I tried the funky (and heavy) Alenax bike with the twin rear ratchets and long lever cranks in place of the standard rotating crank. It was fun in a strange way. Unfortunately a bit big for me, but for $25, I could not resist and got it for my friend there, who loved it too. He promises to try to commute to work (14 miles round trip) one day soon on it and give a full report.

Anyone out there ever ride one? I suspect that they are roughly from the end of the CR time frame (early 80's), does anyone know? Anyone have any info please let me know (and don't be scared to tell me it is junk, I suspect it is:)

Also got a nice 73 NR deraileur for my International. And bar ends for the mnt bike (they are out of style now, so can be had for almost pennies:) And a rivoli chain tool. And cool old black leather shoes, made in germany, with red trim around the tops, and nail on cleats. I suspect they are 40 years old or more. Felt like gloves! And ...

Was fun. Long drive Dan Kasha SLC
