Would anyone like to buy an unused TDC No. 9 crank axle (spindle) for cottered cranksets? According to Sutherlands (2nd Edition), this item is equivalent to a Bayliss Wiley "15" or a Phillips F102. Overall length is 119.0 mm; 2 and 1/16" (52.5 mm) center; refer to Sutherlands for other dimensions or e-mail me offlist. This one is pristine, and interestingly is brightly chrome plated except bearing surfaces--I suppose these surfaces were milled after the entire unit was plated. A price of $15 would seem about right, with shipping from NYC to be added. I hope this part is useful to someones project or general maintenance. It's a really pre-Tokyo-Olympics-style part, but this one was probably manufactured in the '70s. Was new-in-package 'til I used the cups last year.

I also have a Raleigh 21GC axle (NOS as well)--76 mm center-- to offer for the same price, if anyone needs a spare one for that special DL-1 or Raleigh RSW hidden amongst your lighter-weights. So we go from narrowest to widest in one post, just for fun.

All funds (and fun) to be immediately reinvested in still more ludicrous cycling projects.

Thanks!
