Don (Heavy D) Ferris posted- ? Everybody is entitled to an opinion, but I'd bet dollars to donuts that anybody who says tig welding doesn't have soul also can't weld. A builder's tig welding can be differentiated just as easily as lugs, it just that the differences are more subtle and takes a different skill/experience set to do so much like fillet brazing.

I agree. I never picked on tig. I just pointed out Dale's timeline and the fact tig was hardly being used within that timeline. And the term of Keeper of the Flame seems to be in relation to this time line. Note the use of the word flame and not electrical spark. As a builder, like you that can do both tig and braze, I just prefer to build brazed bikes. That's just me. I'm not making any value judgments. Can I be you're hero too? I'll wear my cat suit.
