But I'm hard pressed to believe that the "serial number" shown in the listing and photos is the true serial number. Surely, it must be something Nervex stamped into the BB shell and the authentic Schwinn identification is elsewhere on the bike? The insignia scheme on this frame (now called "Disneyland" style by the Waterford people) was used during the late 1950s to early '60s. So shouldn't there should be either a 3 digit serial number elsewhere on the frame or something with a letter and 2 digits (e.g. C87)? Cheers, Fred Rednor - Arlington, Virginia
