Why are we whining about the issue of remanufacturing, when the US is the largest producer of durable goods in the world? Campy is obviously not interested. Someone on the list knows someone who has the equipment and skill to make a mold of Campy gum brake hoods to reproduce them. Same with aluminum replacement parts. There are more CNC mills in California alone, than in all of Italy. If you could convince a machine shop with idle capacity of the profits to be made from the sale of repop parts, then you've got it made.
