Subject: [CR]The Leather Bar Wrap Project...threat of bovine extinction looms large in Pennsylvania...

This morning I put in the order for the leather bar wrap on the Harness Shop's message machine. Remember I mentioned that were Amish? Well, they don't answer their telephone...they take the messages off it once a day and call customers back. The Father and owner, Mark, by nature of his senior position leaves this distasteful chore to Joel, his son. At any rate, I thought I might get maybe a half dozen orders on this second order from the CR List. Well folks, I have ordered for more than 40 people and some of them wanted over a hundred bucks worth of it. At any rate we now have a couple of thousand dollars of the stuff ordered. Honey was the two to one favorite order with dark brown lagging behind in a distant third place. All this is on my Visa card and I am understandably nervous. I will have to request that those paying with PayPal when the order comes in get out their calculators and add the 3.5% that PayPal charges me for the transaction. I'll keep you folks posted as I hear more about delivery time or any variation in the cost (remember this is all made from scratch custom stuff and some negotiation is present at every order). Be patient with me on this, as I am not an an accountant nor am I set up in any way for the unexpected volume of all this and I am staggering around a bit with it. We are probably looking at least three weeks out with this and possibly more. I Imagine the harness makers will be astounded at this size of all
this, too!
