I think it was our friend at Renaissance Cycles that said (maybe a year or two ago) that on a visit to Merckx he saw hundreds of unpainted MX Leaders; if I recall he also tried to buy them but was unsuccessful. Now being sold in Molteni orange and a limited run of 100 in the Motorola team colors perhaps these are new old stock. Having said that the models being sold now have a threadless fork....
