Friends, I tested my 16mm Park "Peanut Butter" wrench with three different cranksets - Campagnolo NR and Gran Sport and a Sugino Mighty Competition. It would not work with any of them. How sad... So it seems you must use the Zeus wrench, a modified socket or perhaps an unmodified Snap-On or Stahlwillie socket. (I don't have those in 16mm but after examining the 15mm and 17mm sockets I hve from those manufacturers, it seems like their 16mm versions should work. No guarantees there of course.) Ok, now I'm confused. Didn't JT say yesterday that his 16mm Park wrench worked? (The single one, not the the three-headed CCW-2 like I have, which doesn't work). So far, all I know is that two things do work on a Zeus crank arm: the Zeus wrench, and the old Stronglight 16mm socket from the puller "kit." Does anyone have an UNMODIFIED 16mm socket that works on a Zeus crank arm, and if so, what brand & drive size is it so I can get one? The wall would have to be incredibly thin, so personally, I doubt any unmodified socket will work.
