Any bets as to whether the Teledyne now on eBay will make reserve? If he has set the reserve at $500 or more I don't think he will make it. There are several mistakes, IMHO, with the way he has set up the auction, as well as questions about the bike:

He mistates the year as 1982, when we know Teledyne production ended much earlier.

He says it is 59 cm in the auction title, but 56cm in the body. (He says 56 is correct).

He has it set up as single speed, but says he is including unshown and unspecified Shimano or SunTour shifters and derailleurs.

The brake capilpers are Campy SR, but the levers are later, probably Chorus.

The Campy crank looks pretty beat.

The fork has been replaced with a steel one.

He says it has almost no scratches, low miles, in storage for 20 years, yada, yada, but the downtube decals are gone.

Not trying to badmouth the bike or seller, he may even be a list member, but this would be more attractive if he restored the second chainring, shifters and derailleurs before taking the photos, or at least showed these parts in the photo. Also, the replaced fork, beat cranks and missing DT decals raise some concern that there may be some frame cracks, so some reassurance in that regard would be useful.

No Campy didn't make OS clips. Only Shimano at that time. Later there became available assorted BMX derived over sized metal clips. Finding the proper clips is often a problem for the Teledyne owner (anyone have some for sale for mine?)

We have touched on this before I think in this forum, but it created quite a stir at the time when Teledyne aligned itself with Shimano DA instead of Campag for it top show models. This gave another leg up for creditability for the upstart Shimano.
