I have a set of hubs that are remarkably similar, and I have never been able to identify the maker. I bought these as a wheelset long ago. They were laced to some pretty trashed tubular rims, but I don't remember the brand. I rebuilt them and laced them to some contemporary Mavic clincher rims for my Rickert fixed gear road bike. When I got them, the front hub did not have dust covers. After first trying Campy Record track hub dust covers, I tried some from a Record road hub and they fit perfectly. The rear hub is threaded for (and came with) a Campy lock ring, and they are 32 hole. They can be seen here:

Does this just add to the conundrum? Are they just another one of those "holes" (pun intended) in our collective knowledge base?
