Others will know better but I thinkthat BSA made just about everything for their won bikes. As to selling frame components, I know not.
Another extremely vertically integrated bike manufacturer was Favorit of Czechoslovakia (sp?). They made EVERYTHING as far as I could tell. Tires, saddles, chains, freewheels, you name it. Some factory that must have been.
