Lots of folks would like to have the advantages of fenders without actually having fenders.

Lots of other folks are ready to take their money with semi-useless gadgets that purport to do this.

Shorty fenders do protect the headset, but accomplish nothing else.

They belong on bikes with stem shifters and bolt-on brake lever extensions.
