Hey Dirk: Yes, I was not talking about modern builders but those who are in the CR time span or continuation of older enterprises. Most contemporary one man shops will use silver as it is a more "civilized" joining material in the sense that clean up and defluxing is more sanitary, it works best for the extremely thin modern steels and the builders can pass the more substantial cost along easily.
