Jack, I've bought many pairs of nice clincher wheels from list members or on eBay for $100 a pair, sometimes as low as $50. As a matter of fact I just got a nice pair of C-Record clincher wheels on eBay 15 minutes ago for $81.02. Pick up a pair if you really must have clinchers, but sewups are not as fragile as you may think. Try riding them at least occasionally.
