Martin, I recommend you get in touch with Mel Pinto Imports in Falls Church, Virginia or have your LBS contact them. In fact, it might actually be quicker to call the Bicycle Pro Shop in Georgetown (Washington, D.C.) since it is associated with Mel Pinto. Anyway, they carried those seat posts in 1986 and beforehand during the CR time line as well. I can't imagine that there was much demand for those things, although Peugeot used them on some models in the late '70s and/or early '80s. By the way, I remember seeing these posts in both aluminum and a black plastic that seemed to be (at least in my recollection) the same Delrin that was used in the plastic Simplex derailleurs. Best regards, Fred Rednor - Arlington, Virginia
