Regarding the name PX 10/E. Most clubmen in the 60's thought it was P= Professional and X= Ex-works Team and 10 as Fred said for the gears. This might be another of these club cycling myths. Peugeots were imported into the UK in the mid 60's by D.J.Russell in Slough. They use to have a nice advert with Tom Simpson (my hero) and Jaques Botheral.

Best wishes and be lucky. Michael Butler Huntingdon UK.
