I believe this to be on topic by about 100 years. At this moment I have a close friend who is making a ride across the country from NJ to Oregon. Now that might seem pretty ordinary by today's standards. Consider that my friend is around 70 years old but you say that is still no big deal. Add to this the fact that he is going east to west on an antique high wheel bicycle and now you have the story. I ride one of these and let me tell you it is no small fete. His name is Gary Sanderson and he is the current president of the NJ Wheelman and an all around great guy. He is doing this with a friend from Ireland. His journey is being captured in a daily log with photos on this site.

You can even e-mail and cheer him on. He has helped me with my antique bicycles and is one of the nicest guys in the hobby. Tell him Ray told you to write.
