Subject: [CR]wood rims and tires for 1920's track bike

Hi,

Pardon my ignorance on the subject, but this is brand spanking new to me. I want to refurbish an old 1920's track bike and am wondering if it is possible to find tires 28" x 1" for such a bike. These are the tires which have the innertube and tread as a one piece unit. Unfortunately, the bike is missing the headbadge. It's a lighweight lugged bike that weighs about 19-20 lbs. These are the tires which are similar to sewups that are not clincher, but rather compress around the rim. I think they were applied using some type of heat to expand the rubber. They are like a heavy innertube with a tread pattern on one side. The bike has wood rims that are not clad with steel. The rear wheel is twisted and will have to be replaced.

Does anybody know who I can call or email to find such tires and wood rims?
