This mike be a good question for Lou or our German brethern. I was browsing through some bike catalogs on Ebay, one in particular:

postings states: " WINORA bikes were ridden by the German Olympic Teams in 1988 and 1992. " Anybody ever heard of Winora bikes before? Were they around prior to this
time?
