Sorry for blabbing more about this stuff. From the general lack of responses I'm probably bugging more people than I'm helping, but I'm an obsessive type. And I'm trying to unlock more mysteries of the Pogliaghi I just bought.
Talking with Harris Spracher and Ed Litton, it does look like some Pogliaghis had two marks stamped on the bottom of the BB shell. One was the size, (C-T) and one was the "customer", which in the shop's case was perhaps a distributor or importer. I'd like to get some data about what other Pogliaghis have on their bb shell.
What I've got so far, for frame, stamps, serial no:

(was on craigslist) BAF (Did I get that right?) 62 9744
