You can often mix and match headset bits, but it is by no means certain. The lower cup and race wear out about twice as fast as the upper ones, so together are generally worth a bit more than half the price of a used Super Record headset. Are you saying that the lower cup is toast or the fork crown race? Normally it is virtually impossible to destroy the race without doing at least the same damage if not considerably more to the cup. I have both Super Record lower cup and race if you are interested, just send me an email offlist.
