Dunlop patented his tyre July 23rd,1888,and enlisted the services of R.W.Edlin and Finlay Sinclair to build a bicycle sutable for the new tyres. Hume won all four races he entered May 18th1889 at Queen's Collage Sports , Belfast. This was the first race on pneumatic tyres. sam lingo,pleasanton tx
