Subject: [CR]WTT: early C-record bb English for same with italian threading.

I have an english threaded C-Record bb with steel spindle and alloy cups, lock ring, and bearnings, in new condition, that I wanted to trade for an italian-threaded C-Record bb...but I'm looking closely at this thing now, and it sure seems like the spindle may well be a track spindle. There appears to be no difference in the length of the tapered sections on the outside of the bearing shoulders. The spindle is marked *68 - SPc*. Were the road spindles the same length on both sides?

Any insights? I'd still like to trade it for an italian threaded C-record bb in clean condition.

Thanks.
