Subject: [CR]Wanted: Horrible, Cheap Tubular Rims

As a result of the thread about how to mount and patch tubulars tires that ran several days ago, I am persuaded to pursue the acquisition of one, or preferably two, rim(s).

My only requirements are that an inflated tubular tire will stay on without risk of damage, and that they be cheap. I don't care if they are heavy, are warped, have nicks or bulges, are uglier than sin, have five valve holes drilled in them, or have been found by the State of California to contain substances known to cause cancer (ok - maybe I do care about that last one). I don't care about these things because I'm only going to use them to stretch tubular tires prior to mounting.

Please send any replies off list.

Thanks in advance,

John Barry (did I mention cheap?) Mechanicsburg, PA
