I don't want to beat this to death. I don't think it's a Superior upon more reflection. But something doesn't jell. Don't want to see a CR family member get something and have an unhappy experience. That's why all the good work of the group is such a pleasure to be part of, especially on ID, etc. of the items in question. The decals are correct for the claimed vintage and the fork crown looks right to me though I don't think they used 531 decals on the fork blades. So it may be a repaint? BUT: There's a brake drilling in the seatstay bridge which is wrong, looks like the fork is drilled as well. Can't tell if it has track ends or road dropouts. If its got a serial number on the right rear drop you could pin it down. Certainly not original. Like so many other projects (which I've done a few) restoration would cost alot more than its resale value. But then, that's not really why we do it, right?
