Hmmm. Hard to believe no NYC shop survived longer than 30 years + -. I guess it's a tough place for retail.

FWIW, Toga is older than that, because cycles de ORO is 30 years old this year (!) and we were a spin off of Toga. I think they were started in 1973.

Richard Sachs might know their start up year, because Toga (under different owners back then) was the official USA distributor for his frames in the early days. Somewhere I have a sales promo sheet from those days advertising Sachs frames at $250.00...
