Early afternoon 35 mile hammerfest on state-of-the-art-cutting-edge-in-1995 10 year old TREK OCLV with Campagnolo Ergo and SRP kit everything. Sentimental fav as in 1995 I rode it up Alp d'Huez, Col d'Aubisque, Col du Tourmalet, Col du Cormet du Roseland and some other climbs I don't remember the names of only hours before the TdF peloton did them. http://www.velo-retro.com/Chuck.jpg

Early evening 20 mile ride up and around the Rose Bowl on state-of-the-art-cutting-edge-in-1975 30 year old Peter Johnson with Campagnolo Nuovo Record and Frank Spivey drillium everything. Sentimental fav as Peter is almost a brother-from-another-mother. http://www.velo-retro.com/peterjohnson.html

The difference between the two bikes... "the exact same thing only different."

The longest day of the year, warm, clear, sunny, breezy... a memorable day for sure!!!
