Interesting, I just moved to CO, and haven't punctured (knock-on-monitor) since I got here with a bike 1 1/2 years ago. So far, only ride tubulars on the road: when I showed up for our first local CR ride I was greeted with "tubies in the house"...and admonished for having no spare, nor a pump. The 10 or 12 other riders all rode clinchers...3 or 4 of them flatted, but I did not.
Hm, perhaps there's something to be said for "aged" sewups after all?
