Subject: [CR]wtb: tandem wheel or wheels

I am in urgent need of a strong rear tandem wheel. 700c; clincher-style with a beaded rim; preferably 48 spokes. If there's a freewheel on it, it should be a wide-ratio job, like 14-32 or something of the sort. 140mm spacing.

If you have only a matched front/rear pair, I'd consider that too.

It's replacing a wheel that's breaking spokes. The wheel needs to be rebuilt, but we can't get the freewheel off. It's just on there permanently, it seems. I will probably contact one of our frame-painters or builders around here to see if a little heat from a torch might loosen things up. Short of that, I can't think of anything else to do (and don't tell me we didn't try hard enough... the owner of one LBS sheared two freewheel tools in half trying to remove this thing..)

In the meantime, if you have a nice rear tandem wheel I could use, with good thick spokes, please let me know and we'll do a deal for it.

Thanks!
