The early, Continental Oval Reynolds blades are 29 x 16 mm. The NCO* Reynolds blades are 27.5 x 20 mm. Columbus blades are 28 x 19 (interchangeable with NCO blades). There was no third size of Reynolds road blade AFAIK. In track blades, the typical early ones are 22 mm in diameter. There are also 24 mm ones. Greg Parker Ann Arbor, Michigan *New Continental Oval

I just spoke with a guru on the subject Terry Bill from Reynolds UK. He says there were (in addition to the sizes Mr. Parker mentioned) also such blades that ended up in 12mm (pencil thin) ends. And further he says they can (for certain makers in the UK) make 13-1/2mm fork tips- so Brain B, you can still get such blades if you call Terry Bill at Reynolds UK.

Does anyone have any knowledge of how different pencil stayed forks actually ride? Were those pencil blades attached to 29mm continental Oval blades more laterally stiff, than those attached to 22mm ones? Any british experts care to chime in on this? Maybe Bob Reid?
