The project to establish a comprehensive (as much as possible) Colnago Super timeline has been very well received with many, many requests for info and also interest in the eventual results. I've received some nice timeline information but there are definitely a few gaps, some corroborating information and also some conflicting information but so far, off to a really good start - thanks to all that have responded.
If you have some specific timeline knowledge regarding any aspect of these frames from the 1960's into the early '80's, please forward to me so I can include it in the deliverable to our CR list.
Two areas which are particularly lacking info on:
The club cutouts in the lugs and also in the fork crowns. There are definitely a few styles of club, the two most obvious are a flat bottom on the stem vs a convex bottom and also fat club leafs vs. thinner, less bulbous leafs. Can anyone provided insight on these regarding when used, etc.?
Also, some info has been forwarded on decals, mostly the early years (late 60's into early 70's). Can anyone shed more info on decal differences for all years, especially 74'ish into the early '80's?
