Yes, of course, Pete... I love these old canards about old geezers i n the paint shop with the paint stirrers. Then again if you breathed in the fu mes from this stuff and were absorbing all that lead in your system for 30 odd

years, you'd soon forget what shade of bilious green you were supposed to be striving for. For most bikes, it's still better to just eyeball a mat ch. I suspect Raleigh changed the shade when they found a cheaper supplier of a similar shade green. That is not nearly as nice a tale as the old Italia n guy mixing 55 gallon drums of that Bianchi green-blue whatever it is. It , alas, always reminds me of the mid 1950s toilet fixtures you'd find in cheap motels.
