Hi all A tip, picked up many years ago, I think from Jan Le Grande, spit on the tapered faces of the seat post and sprinkle them with grit from a sandblaster, or iron filings before replacing the cradle. Same effect as Harvey's sandpaper. I used to carry around a 35mm cassette can filled with iron filings for this purpose.
