The Nobilette frame is at Matt Assenmacher's shop for paint. Matt had one sample of the old style graphics, and is confident he can fabricate accurate repros from his original. Good thing, as I need a different color.
The parts are coming together in good order. It's going to be a Suntour bike. While I have Superbe, Cyclone and Superbe Pro parts to get it on the road, I'd like to stay all 1st gen Superbe, if I can (bike is a '78). Does anyone have for sale or trade (good user condition, NOS not required):
1. 175mm or 172.5 1st Gen Superbe cranks? I know I know, I'm dreaming. Sugino equivalent acceptable. 144 mm bolt circle, chain rings a bonus but not mandatory.
2. 1st gen Superbe pedals? (The ones with the gold bands around the barrel)
3. !st gen Superbe hubs or wheel set? Again, gold banded. I'd prefer hubs, but also happy to consider wheels. 126mm rear, clinchers or tubies acceptable.
Any other interesting Superbe bits (seatpost, stem, headset, etc.)
