Peter, what a nice community CR is. Thanks for the commiserations, but I could have bid higher, affordability-wise. I just didn't feel it was 'worth' that much. (An interesting thread could be what drives price.) I am highly interested in the Elswick-Hopper history (as a local historian) and ia am struggling to find the time to write up the history, but I know that I can't 'save' every E-H bike that comes up for sale. At least, not while avoiding divorce, bankruptcy and insanity. How do y'all avoid those three threats?
