Well, must say I love this little excurion down the etymylogical lane of "why is that called what it is"? Anyway, as the cat was playfully attacking my driveside leg this morning (or should it be "offside" leg??), I was thinking about some cricketing terminology. Maybe someone would like to explain a few of these terms, no cheating with a dictionary: Googly Silly mid-on Ashes Away Swinger (stop smirking you in the back) Chinaman Golden Duck Mental Disintegration Quickie (ditto the admonishment above re: Away Swinger) Silly

Now, before the ListMeister threatens to turf me broadside from the CR list, let me interject a soothsong of classic bike content. If you read my blog, the link is in my signature below, you will see my article for the day pertaining to the resurrrection of a pair of mavic cranks from a salty grave. This is enormously rewarding work for me. It is possibly a service I would extend to other listmembers, so if interested send me a few digital pics of your buff-needy componentry, and I will tell you what I think of my chances of making it look presentable again. The Cranks took about 3 hours, by the way.
