I'd guess that Anquetil frames were built by Andre Bertin a company in northern France. In 1959 the cheapest frame in the Bertin range cost under £8 including fork, headset and botom bracket so it is safe to assume it was made of gas pipe tubing. The top model "Grand Prix des Nations"-a possible Anquetil connection?- cost £18 made of 531 tubing. Ray Green, Brighton England
