I've been helping a retired, ex-racer shed a bunch of 70's era equipment. The latest thing to come out of the basement was a new, never ridden wheelset that is built with Pino Morroni nipples and locknuts. He got the nipple/locknuts from Pino in the mid-70's and built the wheels a few years later.

Anyone else seen these nipple & locknuts before?
Some details:
RIMS These are Super Champion Performance rims, 36 hole. They were purportedly the first anodized rim and weigh in at 265 grams.
HUBS Campagnolo High-Low hubset with 77 & 78 locknut stamps. Cross 4 on drive side, cross 3 on non-drive side. Front is cross 3 Spokes are straight gauge, stainless steel DT spokes
NIPPLES/LOCKNUTS Alloy nipples on the bottom of the rim with alloy locknuts on the top Both require the special tools which are pieces of machining themselves
