I know that this isn't about the bike, but the man...
there was a very good (honestly) article in BICYCLING magazine last year about John Sinibaldi ... how he still eats from the garden he tends, still rides 20 miles a day (no stretching, no gear changing, no liquids)...got hit while on his (off topic) Kestrel and just had his gruppo transferred to a (on topic) steel bike and rode the next day...
even had prostate cancer (I believe prostate) ten years ago, but, in his words "got it treated and it cleared up.) I believe he is in the St Petersburg area, and it would be awfully cool to be dropped by him, which I would be, I believe, according to many.
I also seem to recall that his son was 'jealous' that got so much love and kisses from the girls, and that he said something to the effect that 'once you get a little older, you will, too..."
