Subject: [CR]ID-ing your Campy Seatpost

Hi John, My thoughts about your post is that it may be a "blank" style Super Record designed to be custom milled and/or pantographed by a frame/bike maker. The factory panto'd SR post on my Gios Super Record has different flutes than a standard SR post, so I must assume that Campy supplied these as non-fluted shafts that could be modified as desired. Can anyone confirm that Campagnolo did this??? Regards, and Happy New Year! Kevin Kruger - Grantville, PA
