Seemed perfectly innocent to me. I think it's perfectly valid to remark on a $184 pair of toe straps, even if it wasn't a record. And I find the adventures of kauzo and his colleagues fascinating. No one is challenging or even questioning how they choose to spend their money, but it is fascinating all the same.
