To Charles and anyone else that might be looking, there are Avocet bolt sets floating around out there which are functionally similar to the original NR triple sets. They feature a spacer and bolt, the bolt passing through the spacer and threading into the 6mm x 1 holes in the crank spider, instead of the spacer threading into the spider and needing chainring bolts to attach the ring. Attendees to the Seattle Bike Expo could have found a treat attached to the bike swap--a vintage lightweight display featuring the mostly British collection of Bob Freeman as well as bikes shown by Nelson Miller, Jan Heine, and one continuum of track bikes from @1930-1950. A pleasant surprise that I had no idea was going to be there!
