I agree that the old lugged Treks are some of the most bang for the buck bargains that are to be had. I bought a barely off topic 1985 Trek 670, full Campy Nuovo Record (except for brakes) for $100 on e-buy. I also purchased a 1983/4 770 frame for $25.00 (it was built in late 83 and was painted/decaled with 1984 graphics). I'm not sure why, but these old treks have little cache with collectors or vintage bike enthusiasts, which is a good thing. On the other hand one gets little or no respect when in the company of Colnagos, Masis, Hetchins and Raleighs.
